Charles Charamba

Charles Charamba (born 27 April 1971) is a Zimbabwean gospel musician and a former pastor in the Apostolic Faith Mission Church of Zimbabwe (AFM). He has since started his church. Charamba’s albums have been the top selling gospel music in Zimbabwe since the early 2000s. He has toured both Great Britain and the United States, and throughout southern Africa. One of Charamba’s most famous songs is “Machira Chete”.

Mai Charamba

Olivia Charamba, popularly known as Mai Charamba, is a multi award winning female Zimbabwean Gospel Artist. She started her musical career as a backing vocalist for her husband Pastor Charles Charamba. She rose to prominence as a solo artist with her 2000 debut album, Amen, with songs composed by Pastor Charamba and featuring friends Tariro (Matongorewa) Muringa and Spiwe (Murerwa) Chimuti as backing vocalists.

Machanic Manyeruke

Mechanic Manyeruke and the Puritans are a Zimbabwean gospel music group. Mechanic Manyeruke, the founder of the group (born 16 August 1942) is regarded as one of the top five notable gospel music pioneers in Zimbabwe.

Pastor G

Pastor G (real name Stanley Gwanzura) is a Zimbabwean christian religious leader and gospel musician. He has more than 10 albums to his name and has worked with some of the most renowned musicians in Zimbabwe and the African continent.

Fungisai Zvakavapano Mashavave

Fungisai Zvakavapano Mashavave is a highly rated, award winning Zimbabwean musician who mostly sings christian religious music. She rose to fame in 2000 when she recorded her first album under Elias Musakwa’s stable. Fungisai has released more that 10 albums, with hits especially in her early career.

Mathias Mhere

Mathias Mhere is one of Zimbabwe’s best gospel artists. Mhere rose to prominence in 2012 with his album. “Anoita Minana” which carried the hit “Favour” which topped the gospel charts.

Sabastian Magacha is an award-winning Zimbabwean born gospel artist. He is a well-travelled artist and has performed in countries such as Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, the United States of America, Kenya, England and Canada. in his career, he has also shared the stage with artists such as Charles Charamba, Shingisai Suluma, Don McClurkin, Israel Houghton, Joyous Celebration, Keke from South Africa, Rebbecca Malope, Deborah Frazer, Oliver Mtukudzi, and Uche.

Shingisai Suluma (born 1971) is a Zimbabwean Christian singer, songwriter and worship leader.

Michael Mahendere

Michael Mahendere born 28 May 1983 is a Zimbabwean gospel musician, preacher and businessman. Mahendere is a pastor at United Family International Church under Emmanuel Makandiwa. He rose to prominence after re-arranged the song, Makanaka Jesu together with the UFI Choir, which became a hit and is also well known for his album, Getting Personal With God II with hits such as Mumoyo. He is usually associated with the title, “Minister” Michael Mahendere.
